I made it!

Everybody, I’m finally here! Here was my itinerary:
Sunday: plane takes off at 12:15pm on the money. 14 hours (or so) later, plane touches down Monday afternoon (date line) at Narita at 4:15pm. Going through customs right in front of me? That’s right, it’s BON JOVI. Hilarious. I was a little jet-lagged but found it really funny that Bon Jovi was on the plane. Anyhoo, Ben meets me at the airport, and we go right to Shibuya to grab some sushi at a 100Yen joint. They have dollar stores all over Japan, isn’t that awesome? We eat lots, and meet up with his girlfriend Akane. We then proceed to go to a bar and get some wine. But the waiter keeps screwing up the cork, so Ben and I split 4 (FOUR) bottle between the 2 of us. Akane has a little, but we do most of the work. We finally catch a train back to Ben’s at 1am or so. We make some REALLY drunk phone calls and write a few drunk emails, then pass out.
Tuesday: barfing.
Wednesday: It’s now the afternoon and I’m just starting to be hungry again.
I think I might go on the wagon for a while.

Remember, Marc, you are gaijin. It’s like performing improv. The first rule for gaijin is THERE ARE NO RULES.
When someone asks you if you’d like a shot, you say “yes, AND a beer chaser, thank you.”
Just watch the shochu. That stuff’s not for kids.

Marc,
Is barfing a class and/or word that you will be covering in your English class? Take care of that liver..
Babyak…

First rule of Hollywood – Never tell your stories. And what is the first thing you do, Mr. Baizman? You tell your stories. Oh, my love, when will you ever learn?

Don’t forget the people you drunkenly IM’ed as well. But then again, you already forgot, you old sot. Were Bon Jovi on your flight? We wouldn’t have needed to worry about you then since rock stars nver die in plane crashes.

Glad you made it…now back to Bon Jovi – did you get an autograph, picture, chat, are you going to hang out in Japan, can you get an autograph for me?

Umm…I’m NEVER going to get a Bon Jovi autograph, let me say that for the record.
