I love that Tony the Tiger speaks Japanese. I got a huge kick out of this when I first saw the boxes of Frosted Flakes over here, and couldn’t read anything. I just kept imagining Tony on the commercials, going, “Frosted Flakes: theyyyyyyy’re NLURM!” (or some other Japanese that I didn’t understand.)

Now, the resolution is bad, but does that Bean copy actually read: “I am in the mood to enjoy deliciousness”?? Oh, the funny.
I’m surprised by the picture of your commute–there’s so much more room than I’d always thought those Japanese trains had! Or is it just the Tokyo trains that are jam-packed?

Ben- great comment about the Frosted Flakes. I had to explain to my colleagues why I was laughing out loud. Those that have spent some time on the “rock” understood. Everyone else……

Yeah, when you take the train at noon, it’s not too bad. It’s the nightime rush hour commute that sucks.
