I’m a cookin’

On the weekends, I don’t get home at 11pm like I do during the week, so I have more time to do things. This weekend I decided to do some cooking. Really, I did! Yesterday I made a great sweet and sour stir-fry with soy sauce, sake, mirin, and rice vinegar mixed with broccoli, chicken, garlic, snow peas, and onions. It was delicious. Today I made a Thai red curry, also with chicken, and with potatoes and peanuts. It was REALLY good, albeit a bit spicier than I had planned. And this afternoon, for a snack, I made some guacamole and bought some Tostitos©. You heard me right. Tostitos©. Thank god for the international supermarket.
Sweet, sweet pictures: Warning – don’t look at these if you’re hungry.

That’s the first time I’ve ever been described as popular.

I’m now rocking out to Cake – Opera Singer from the album with that song on it … it said Japan in the song. Isn’t that interesting? Matt, I know that you are loving learning that bit of information about me. Who is unemployed as of Friday. When I quit my job – when Marc told me to walk out. But I didn’t. I just quit and gave them the two weeks bit and they said that I could just leave that day and get paid for the two weeks … who knew that the man was so stupid.

Michele, glad to hear you quit – what were you rocking out to when you walked out?
Rocking out to Nat King Cole “Quizas, Quizas, Quizas” from the “In The Mood For Love” Soundtrack.
Oh, wait, I had to fix a typo and the song ended, now I’m rocking out to Rebecca Pan “Bengawan Solo” from the “In The Mood For Love” Soundtrack.
Yeesh, talk about saccharine. Correction. I am NOW rocking out to Jeff Buckley “Mojo Pin” off of his album “Grace.”
