I am thoroughly disgusted by the actions of my supposed home country. Bush is apparently as megalomaniacal as Kim Jong Il. In one broad stroke, he has forsaken the UN, destabilized the entire geopolitical climate, and increased the danger to all Americans worldwide.
Thanks a lot, you son of a bush.
The Japanese prime minister, Junichiro Koizumi, issued a statement yesterday that Japan was with the US. Way to go, J. If North Korea didn’t have a reason to shoot missilies over Japan BEFORE (and they have been, regardless) , they sure have a great one now.
Japan is known for being insular, but even here people are rattled, and no one can avoid the ugly spectre of war.
I’m concerned for my own safety, and it’s all thanks to a man the American People didn’t even ELECT!!!

Don’t trust the media!!! EVERYTHING IS SUSPECT! Even here in Japan, the government has a tight rein on the media. Don’t fool yourself into thinking the US is any different.

C’mon, Marc, didn’t you see 15 Iraqis defected? It’s over, man, break out the brew-dogs! USA rocks! Fox News and country music said so – that means it’s true!
And Saddam – is it just me, or with those glasses does he kind of look like an Iraqi Mr. Rogers?
Did we really need a stable global society, where moderates of all cultures came together to work out differences through compromise and diplomacy? Were we really ready to inflict that on the hard working people in our defense industry?
But enough poopy war talk – Steve Martin is hosting the Oscars! I love him – now. He’s so witty and wry and comfortable – not like that subversive “wild and crazed” comedy he used to do.
