Sorry it’s been so long since the last update. Things have been very busy at the school, and it’s all I can do to heat up some ramen when I get home, before I fall asleep.

For the latest US “psy-ops” propoganda, check out the CBC (Canada) web site here: Manipulating Minds and click on “Relaunch Presentation.” There are real gems here, like “Do not pursue an aggressive posture, or you will be destroyed,” and “We see everything.” Very comforting.

I find myself wondering how many people are welcoming us and how many are in abject terror. Where can I get an unbiased view? The answer? Nowhere. There are NO unbiased news organizations. Everyone has their own agenda, no matter how they try to hide it. At least the sites I mentioned in my previous post wear their bias openly, as opposed to CNN, which purports impartiality, but is clearly not. Always best to get all sides of the picture.

Oh, and by the way, Blair and Bush admit that war in Iraq could now last for months . Big shocker.

On a somewhat lighter note, my friends Ray and Shannon are arriving tomorrow and I’m very much looking forward to hanging out with them, and my friend Ben. I’m glad they still took the trip in these uncertain times, and I’m looking forward to exploring more of Japan with them.

And here’s some pictures that I’ve taken with the phone. There’s a packed train, a lesson on humor, a funny picture from a textbook, my friend Yoko holding a Brooklyn Lager (!), and some funny things everyone will like.

While posting, I was listening to Where It’s At from the album “Odelay” by Beck.
