These pictures are adorable! I love Paul & Deb. I wish I had been there. Please God, tell me you weren’t nude in the hot tub with Paul … on second thought don’t – oh, those sweet fantisies.
You’ll be home in 36 days, but who’s counting. Here’s a hint: ME – I am. I am counting!
And if you go to Australia/New Zealand w/o me say Sayonara, baby.
Hi Auntie Lou – Yep those things are food – I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure they’re squid. Squid are a HUGE food item in Japan. Of course, there is the raw, sushi version, but that is just the beginning of the world of squid we live in over here. We also have salty squid snacklets (a staple in the convenience store)and a kind of super-vacuum-dried squid, which I once sent your nephew as a joke. He thought it was very funny, once the vomiting stoppped.
