On the weekends, I don’t get home at 11pm like I do during the week, so I have more time to do things. This weekend I decided to do some cooking. Really, I did! Yesterday I made a great sweet and sour stir-fry with soy sauce, sake, mirin, and rice vinegar mixed with broccoli, chicken, garlic, snow peas, and onions. It was delicious. Today I made a Thai red curry, also with chicken, and with potatoes and peanuts. It was REALLY good, albeit a bit spicier than I had planned. And this afternoon, for a snack, I made some guacamole and bought some Tostitos&copy. You heard me right. Tostitos&copy. Thank god for the international supermarket.

Sweet, sweet pictures: Warning – don’t look at these if you’re hungry.
